Position Summary
The FP&A Analyst – Marketing serves as a key partner to the Marketing FP&A function, supporting financial planning, forecasting, and performance analytics across marketing channels. This role works closely with the Director of Marketing FP&A and cross-functional stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making, improve marketing efficiency, and enhance financial visibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support weekly forecasts, monthly pacing, and annual planning (AOP) processes for marketing expenses, lead generation, and volume drivers
- Build and maintain financial models linking marketing investment to volume, revenue, and contribution margin
- Analyze marketing performance across channels (Digital, Offline) utilizing various conversion metrics and contribution margin profitability
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packages highlighting trends, variances, and key insights for leadership
- Develop and maintain dashboards to improve visibility into marketing funnel performance and efficient metrics
- Maintain and enhance financial models, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment with evolving business needs
- Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate reporting and forecasting processes
- Support month-end close activities, including variance analysis between actuals, forecast, and plan
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on marketing performance, channel mix optimization, and investment decisions
- Support business cases for new initiatives, vendor evaluations, and efficiency improvement projects
Experience and Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years in financial analysis, consulting, strategic/marketing finance, or related field
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency, Excel skills are a must
- Familiarity with marketing metrics (CPL, conversion rates, ROI/ROAS) preferred
- Experience with NetSuite and Tableau are a plus
