Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of the following layers:
- Outside Plant & Fibre
- Inside Plant & Racking, Cabling, etc
- DWDM
- SDH
- IP
- DCN
- Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling)
- Utilise bespoke inventory systems
- Have a methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation
- Offer the chance to travel
Skills Required
- Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject
- Knowledge of telecommunication principles
- Conversant with Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- IP principles and Networks experience desirable
- Advanced Excel or Access Skills
- AC/DC Power experience desirable
- Practical/hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc)
