Junior Field Services Engineer

About the role

Join our Waygate Technologies Team at Baker Hughes, where we develop a comprehensive portfolio of systems and products for non-destructive testing. We provide a full suite of solutions including radiography, computed tomography, remote visual inspection, ultrasound, and eddy-current products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install industrial X-ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers via phone and on-site service visits.
• Complete service reports, invoicing packages, and administrative documentation in a timely manner.
• Drive customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and honoring commitments.
• Monitor site safety throughout the execution of all work scopes.

Requirements

• Four-year technical degree (AEET, AMET) with experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Four-year degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME).
• The ability to regularly lift/move up to 20 lbs. and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• The willingness to undergo background checks including employment verification, criminal history, driving record, and education.
• The ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
• A valid driver's license and passport (or the ability to obtain one).
• A valid U.S. citizenship status.
