About the role

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project specifications and requirements.
• Analyze project drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to determine costs.
• Source and evaluate vendor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions.
• Assist in preparing project budgets and timelines for management review.
• Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all estimates.

Requirements

• Experience with cost estimation in construction, particularly within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when reviewing technical documents.
• Proficiency with estimation software and tools.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with project teams and vendors.
• A proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Familiarity with construction industry standards and regulations.
