Junior ERP Developer

Core Responsibilities

• CUSTOMIZE our Oracle eBusiness Suite and the adjacent applications which comprise Electric Boat’s ERP solution to meet the complex needs of our Finance and Supply Chain business units
• WORK WITH business customers and IT JUSYSTEM engineers to turn business requirements into technical solutions
• WRITE well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• PROMOTE strict code peer review practices as well as testing and validation to ensure high-quality coding standards
• MANTAIN software applications throughout the lifecycle of the product

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems
• 0-5 years of post-graduate engineering experience
• Java and/or web-based application development using JavaScript

Preferred Experience

• DEVELOPING applications with Oracle/SQL databases using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript
• Experience or knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Experience in DevOps CI/CD pipelines is advantageous

Functional Awareness

• Functional awareness of Finance or Supply Chain business processes
