About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled ERP Developer to join our client’s dynamic team remotely. This role involves developing bespoke functionalities for ERP systems tailored to meet specific client needs. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in Java, JavaScript, and SQL to create and implement solutions that enhance business processes. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique requirements, translating them into technical specifications and delivering effective, efficient solutions. The role offers a flexible work schedule, with occasional visits to client sites near Nottingham, and regular team meetings every two months at the company’s office. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, with recent hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript, and SQL. Proven experience working on ERP functionalities such as warehousing, stock management, order processing, financial reporting, manufacturing, MRP, and production is essential. An understanding of manufacturing processes will be highly advantageous, enabling quicker adaptation to client requirements. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage client interactions effectively. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications or professional training in ERP systems. Responsibilities Develop and customize ERP functionalities based on client specifications, ensuring solutions are aligned with their operational needs. Collaborate with clients to gather detailed requirements and create comprehensive technical documentation. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop robust, scalable code using Java, JavaScript, and SQL. Conduct testing and debugging of developed features to ensure quality and performance standards are met. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ERP modules, addressing any issues promptly. Engage in regular communication with clients, providing updates and gathering feedback to refine solutions. Participate in bi-monthly team meetings at the Nottingham office and plan client visits to ensure seamless project delivery. Keep abreast of industry trends and continuously improve technical skills to enhance service delivery.
