About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Engineer to support an upcoming missiles contract in Huntsville, AL. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• High energy, proactive attitude, and perpetual curiosity.
• Ability to work in an inclusive, communicative team environment (both large and small teams), including interactions with internal employees and customers.
• Interpersonal style that enhances productivity, promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and maintains effective working relationships.
• Effective communication and facilitation skills to gain support, influence thinking, and resolve concerns or conflicts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills for various levels of management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-quality products on schedule.
• Active Secret clearance (or higher) or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Experience

• System Safety experience in the aerospace industry, particularly for government contractors or commercial space programs.
• Fault Tree Analysis experience.

• Travel domestically within the U.S. as required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, make rational decisions, and exercise good judgment.

Work Environment

• Office environment with extended periods of sitting at a workstation/desk.
• Ability to lift objects over 15 lbs.
• Work attire must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to the employee or others.
