Junior Engineer

About the role

Piper Companies is looking for a Junior Engineer to join a government contractor in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This role requires the candidate to report onsite and have an active Secret Clearance.

Essential Duties

• Perform engineering and analysis of military sales requirements
• Analyze contract technical deliverables for adequacy and completeness for military programs, including system design documents, test plan and report documentation, operator and maintenance technical manuals, training documentation and materials
• Conduct market research and analyze market research results
• Assess configuration management of assigned equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required
• 2-5+ years professional engineering experience
• Previous experience supporting the U.S. Army, Department of Defense (DoD) highly desired
• Experience with technical writing and training

Compensation

$85,000 - $95,000+ (based on experience)
