Junior Engineer

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• Years of Experience: 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience

Primary Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects involving research, development, manufacturing, sing, and technical program execution.
• Aid in engineering analysis, design support, technical evaluations, and engineering problem-solving activities.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, engineering reports, specifications, and engineering data packages.
• Assist with engineering studies, technical investigations, and project support activities.
• Participate in engineering reviews, design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning efforts.
• Support sing, evaluation, validation, and verification activities for engineering projects and systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project objectives and customer requirements.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of technical data packages (TDPs), drawings, procedures, and engineering records.
• Support compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts and engineering process enhancement initiatives.
• Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, vendors, and technical stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance (Must have interim clearance before start date)
• Knowledge of engineering principles, technical problem-solving methodologies, and engineering processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams

Preferred Experience

• Supporting Department of Defense programs or facilities
• Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, sing, or technical projects
• Familiarity with technical data packages (TDPs), engineering documentation, and technical reporting
• Experience supporting engineering analysis, sing, or design activities
• Experience supporting research, development, or modernization initiatives
• Experience working within industrial, laboratory, manufacturing, or production environments
• Experience supporting energetics, ammunition, explosives, or defense-related programs
