Junior Engineer

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- Years of Experience: 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience
Primary Responsibilities
- Support engineering projects involving research, development, manufacturing, sing, and technical program execution.
- Aid in engineering analysis, design support, technical evaluations, and engineering problem-solving activities.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, engineering reports, specifications, and engineering data packages.
- Assist with engineering studies, technical investigations, and project support activities.
- Participate in engineering reviews, design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning efforts.
- Support sing, evaluation, validation, and verification activities for engineering projects and systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project objectives and customer requirements.
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of technical data packages (TDPs), drawings, procedures, and engineering records.
- Support compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts and engineering process enhancement initiatives.
- Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, vendors, and technical stakeholders as required.
Qualifications
- Active U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance (Must have interim clearance before start date)
- Knowledge of engineering principles, technical problem-solving methodologies, and engineering processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams
Preferred Experience
- Supporting Department of Defense programs or facilities
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, sing, or technical projects
- Familiarity with technical data packages (TDPs), engineering documentation, and technical reporting
- Experience supporting engineering analysis, sing, or design activities
- Experience supporting research, development, or modernization initiatives
- Experience working within industrial, laboratory, manufacturing, or production environments
- Experience supporting energetics, ammunition, explosives, or defense-related programs
