Junior Electronic Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot electronic products to component and sub-assembly level utilizing schematics and standard procedures.
• Able to read drawings and schematics.
• Set up test equipment and follow test procedures.
• Use test and measurement equipment including voltmeter, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot meter, IR meter, power supplies, milliohm meter, LCR, and other automatic and standard test equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to assemblers.
• Recommends process improvements if necessary.
• Utilizes written or visual instructions as needed.
• Provides written and/or oral communication in reference to test and troubleshooting findings.
• Keeps workstation, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in the electronic/electrical industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.

Desired Skills

• Associate or bachelor’s degree desirable.
• Power conversion/power supply experience desirable.
• Must be able to read and interpret schematics and/or diagrams.
• Safety driven individual.
• Experience with Analog and Digital power circuits.
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Some travel required. Domestic and International.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for long periods of time while performing a multitude of tests.
• Bending and kneeling to wire power equipment.
• Ability to carry approximately 35lbs of tools.

Compensation Information

Base Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 USD (Hourly)
