Key Responsibilities
- Test and troubleshoot electronic products to component and sub-assembly level utilizing schematics and standard procedures.
- Able to read drawings and schematics.
- Set up test equipment and follow test procedures.
- Use test and measurement equipment including voltmeter, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot meter, IR meter, power supplies, milliohm meter, LCR, and other automatic and standard test equipment.
- Provide technical assistance to assemblers.
- Recommends process improvements if necessary.
- Utilizes written or visual instructions as needed.
- Provides written and/or oral communication in reference to test and troubleshooting findings.
- Keeps workstation, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in the electronic/electrical industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
Desired Skills
- Associate or bachelor’s degree desirable.
- Power conversion/power supply experience desirable.
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics and/or diagrams.
- Safety driven individual.
- Experience with Analog and Digital power circuits.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Some travel required. Domestic and International.
Physical Requirements
- Standing for long periods of time while performing a multitude of tests.
- Bending and kneeling to wire power equipment.
- Ability to carry approximately 35lbs of tools.
Compensation Information
Base Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 USD (Hourly)
