Junior Designer
About the role
IMA is a creative agency with a simple purpose: to create connections people buy into, emotionally and literally. Through everything from advertising and media to packaging and retail activations, we deliver work that earns attention, builds relationships, and gives people a reason to choose your brand in the moments that matter. We’re looking for a passionate, curious Junior Designer to join our team and help bring engaging ideas to life across print, spatial, and digital. This is a brilliant chance to build your skills, test new ideas, and find your creative voice alongside a supportive, collaborative team.
Benefits
- A People-First Culture: A values-led environment where your ideas are heard, your growth is backed, and your wins are celebrated.
- Variety & Ownership: Real responsibility on live campaign briefs, retail activations, and brand experiences from day one.
- Mentorship & Support: Learn directly from experienced creatives while building your confidence and craft.
Responsibilities
- Bringing Ideas to Life: Create engaging design work across print, spatial, and digital channels.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with strategy, creative, and production teams to turn briefs into beautiful, high-quality work.
- Research & Conceptualising: Pitch in with fresh ideas, research current trends, and help shape creative directions.
- Craft & Execution: Apply brand guidelines, craft sharp layouts and typography, and prepare artwork to print and digital standards.
- Growing Your Craft: Continually build your technical skills, test new creative tools, and push your creative limits.
Requirements
- Design Passion: A strong eye for visual communication, graphic design, layout, and typography.
- Technical Basics: Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and an interest in digital/print production standards.
- Creative Curiosity: Staying up-to-date with design trends, fresh ideas, and new ways of working.
- Great Mindset: Positive, proactive, and eager to learn—with good attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Team Spirit: Comfortable receiving feedback, asking questions, and collaborating openly across teams.
