About The Position
Golf Pride® Grips is seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on designing and developing golf grips with an emphasis on ergonomics and performance. The ideal candidate will support the entire product development cycle, from concept to production, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation of innovative and ergonomic golf grip designs
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance advanced concepts through the design cycle
- Participate in prototype building and testing to refine designs
- Prepare and maintain documentation for design processes and modifications
- Increase speed, reliability, and efficiency in new product development
- Support senior engineers in project planning and execution
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing/Production, Project Engineering, and Industrial Design
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Experience: 0-3 years
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino3D, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
- Preferred qualifications: Internship/project experience in product design, especially in sports equipment; familiarity with Rhinoceros 3D CAD software; knowledge of simulation software (e.g., SolidWorks Plastics/Mold Flow, ANSYS, MATLAB); basic understanding of rubber injection and/or compression molding process and tool design; familiarity with various manufacturing, testing, and measurement equipment (3-axis CNC Mill, EDM, 3D scanning, 3D printing, etc.)

Position Criteria
- Up to 10% domestic and international travel
