Responsibilities
- Utilize information received from System Design Leader/Project Design Manager to create submittal documents, shop and fabrication drawings
- Responsible for understanding project specifications, including the typologies, areas and systems used in various projects
- Responsible for adhering to the project “Phases” determined by the Design Project Manager
- Responsible for coordinating with Design Project Manager to make arrangements for any special conditions required by the project
- Study and develop shop drawings, fabrication drawings and PMF
- To be fully conversant with the Groups Design Process.
- Mentor & instruct junior members of the team.
- Cover any other duties assigned by the SDL or PDM.
- To supervise & assist with the production of all elevation, floor plan & details drawings according to the project-working program.
- To report to the SDL & PDM any slips or deviations from program which might occur.
- To ensure the derivative design drawings tally with the structural calculation.
- Other duties as needed by specific business unit/department
Requirements
- Bachelor degree preferred, or Associate degree (with relevant experience) in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
- Must be proficient in Auto CAD, and/or Solidworks; experience with Microsoft Office
- 3-5 year’s related experience. Experience in construction/curtainwall industries a plus.
