Junior Construction Inspector - NYC, NY

About the role

Responsible for inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards. Conduct inspections, document findings, and issue citations as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction sites to ensure adherence to local building codes and safety regulations.
• Document inspection findings and prepare reports.
• Issue written warnings or citations for non-compliance.
• Communicate with contractors and property owners regarding inspection results and corrective actions.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction inspection or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.

Skills
