Junior Conflicts Attorney

Responsibilities

• Analyze conflict search reports for incoming lateral attorneys and staff hires
• Work with Ethics Counsel on lateral hiring process, including conflict review and clearance matters
• Provide support in such other areas as the Ethics Counsel deems appropriate

Requirements

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in the United States required
• Three years of legal experience within a law firm
• Willingness to devote most of the business day to review of conflicts of interest database search reports
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; must be able to articulate issues accurately, clearly and succinctly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities needed to address complex questions and issues
• Maintain confidentiality and use discretion with sensitive information
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented; issue-tracking, follow-up and resolution skills are essential

Pay

Actual salaries will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience and skillset. The salary range listed is just one component of the Carlton Fields total compensation package for employees.
