Junior Compliance Attorney (In-House, Contract Engagement)

About the role

Latitude is seeking a junior-level Compliance Attorney for a contract engagement with a multinational sports organization. The candidate will support the legal and compliance team on contract review, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance matters.

Responsibilities

• Support the legal and compliance team on contract review, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance matters
• Review contracts and related documents to identify legal, regulatory, and operational risks
• Flag potential compliance concerns, inconsistencies, and high-risk provisions within agreements and business arrangements
• Escalate potential legal or regulatory issues appropriately and provide practical, business-oriented recommendations
• Manage multiple assignments and prioritize effectively

Requirements

• 2+ years of legal compliance, commercial contracts, risk management, or corporate legal support
• Experience reviewing contracts and related documents to identify legal, regulatory, and operational risks
• Ability to flag potential compliance concerns, inconsistencies, and high-risk provisions within agreements and business arrangements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Licensed in the state of residence

• Compensation: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.
• Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
• Benefits: Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
