Responsibilities
- Aid in establishing, updating, and monitoring news alerts on various clients and prospects using firm resources.
- Collect competitive data, market and company research, and industry trends.
- Analyze internal and external data to identify potential business opportunities.
- Research private equity firms, portfolio companies, and industry trends to identify opportunities for the firm's attorneys.
- Maintain awareness of litigation activity impacting key clients and targets.
- Track news impacting various industries or practice groups like economic sanctions, cryptocurrency, and AI.
- Identify, analyze, and synthesize information from various sources in a clear, concise manner.
- Coordinate in-depth research on a range of companies, industries, and trends on behalf of BD and the firm’s attorneys.
- Develop strong familiarity with internal proprietary CRM, matter, and other internal systems.
- Collaborate with members of BD to understand the firm’s practice areas, strategic priorities, matters, competitors, and other factors influencing research efforts.
- Gain a deep understanding of select practices, clients, and prospects to proactively identify and advance actionable information to BD colleagues and attorneys.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, and up to one to two years’ experience in a competitive intelligence/junior analyst or business development role may be preferred.
- Strong intellectual curiosity.

Qualifications
