Junior Business Architect/Analyst
T-Rex has been tracking a recent trend of job offer scams. These scams start with an unsolicited email or LinkedIn message from a fake or impersonated recruiter that states the candidate meets a skillset that the recruiter is looking for. That is often followed up with a false screening questionnaire and even an interview for the nonexistent position. After this, the candidate receives an official-looking job offer. In some cases, there is also a request for a large payment to acquire office equipment, such as a laptop. The scammer tells the victim that they will be reimbursed for the purchase of the office equipment, but of course this never happens.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex problems in the field of data analytics. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust data models and predictive analytics tools
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning algorithms into existing systems
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide actionable insights to improve business processes
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis and/or machine learning
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Tableau
- Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
