Junior Business Analyst - Active TS/SCI
About the role
The Business Analysis - Junior role focuses on the technical and content management aspects of the organization's web presence and internal tools. This includes maintaining and updating SharePoint sites across multiple networks, consolidating sites, supporting content updates, and providing training and consultation to content managers.
Responsibilities
- SharePoint Management: Maintain and update the content of Analysis SharePoint websites on multiple networks (JWICS, SIPRNET, NIPRNET, Extranet).
- Site Consolidation and Support: Consolidate SharePoint sites where possible and support content owners who may require assistance and training.
- Content Updates: Support the timely updating of the Analysis Home Page on both unclassified and classified networks.
- Communications Support: Assist the Communications Team in executing workforce messaging.
- Tool Development: Support the development, refinement, and functionality of tools created for the Analysis Directorate, such as tools for awards, reporting, and tracking.
- Training and Consultation: Provide training and consultation to other Analysis SharePoint content managers.
- UI/UX Representation: Represent the Analysis directorate for User Interface (UI) development efforts and coordinate with IT on new corporate updates.
- Tableau Support: Provide expert Tableau support for business functions and Front Office requirements.
- Requirements Tracking: Document and track all intake requirements through approved mechanisms to provide up-to-date metrics.
- Change Communication: Communicate updates, changes, and new information to SharePoint content managers.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and address cross-browser functionality problems in all delivered User Interfaces.
Requirements
- Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a business, management, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a business, management, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 3+ years of experience.
- Core Skills: Critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral and written).
- Advanced Skills: Proficiency in specialized tools such as MS Visio, MS Project, JIRA, Tableau, or SharePoint.
