Junior Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage and handle misdemeanor cases
• Prepare for jury trials, preliminary hearings, and other criminal proceedings
• Provide high-quality legal representation to clients
• Work closely with the firm’s attorneys and support staff
• Adhere to strict ethical standards and confidentiality requirements
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop effective legal strategies

Requirements

• At least 1 year of demonstrable experience with criminal law, post-conviction, and restraining order concepts
• Jury trial, preliminary hearing, and misdemeanor experience preferred
• High-energy and able to manage time and cases effectively
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills

Qualifications

• Admission to the California Bar
• Capacity to attend court in the Bay Area

Pay

$100,000 - $135,000 yearly, depending on years of experience and criminal defense experience.
