Junior Architect / Designer

About the role

Leroy Street Studio is a wholistic design firm integrating architecture, interior design, and construction management. We focus on transforming materials into meaningful spaces and objects, and we are particularly interested in residential and municipal design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, production, and administration of projects through all phases of development and construction.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges.
• Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into design concepts.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Professional degree (B Arch or M Arch).
• 1-4 years of post-graduate professional experience.
• Strong design background with good research and technical skills.
• Strong team player with leadership potential.
• Excellent organizational, writing, and verbal communications skills.
• Proficiency in Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of BIM production workflows; ArchiCAD a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an intensive, open office environment.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
