Junior Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Architect to work closely with our technical and design leads to support projects from early concept through permit drawings and into Construction Administration.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from concept design through schematic design, permit submission, and into construction administration
• Assist drawing production, rendering, design development, consultant coordination, and the day-to-day creation of clear, buildable construction documents
• Contribute to development of drawing sets
• Contribute to design and rendering efforts
• Support preparation of construction documents for a smooth permit review process
• Coverage of coordination and development of coordinated, code-compliant documentation across all phases
• Closely coordinate with partners to translate design intent into clear, buildable solutions

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in Rhino and/or Archicad is preferred, but not required — a willingness to learn new software quickly on the job is sufficient
• Alignment with Space Time Studio’s and Space Craft's mission to build walkable neighborhoods and sustainable buildings is essential
