Junior Accountant

About the role
The Junior Accountant will join the Corporate Accounting team in the NYC headquarters, handling all aspects of the general ledger and month-end closing in a deadline-driven environment. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication skills are required. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the New York City office located at 25 Madison Ave.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of all intercompany invoices
- Recording of monthly journal entries
- Provide feedback to manager on ways to enhance and streamline the invoicing process
- Daily monitoring of the AP clearing accounts
- Preparation of analysis schedules
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Assist with the monthly accounting close
- Assist with special projects which may arise

Requirements
- BS Degree in Accounting required
- 1-2 years Accounting experience
- Experienced in SAP Accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Adaptable and willing to work in a changing environment where continued process improvement is expected
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Driven, self-motivated, deadline-driven and goal oriented

Pay
The target annualized base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $78,000. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime. In addition to the annual base salary, this role has an annual bonus target of 5%.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the New York City office.
