Junior Accountant

Overview

Growing organization in the Biltmore area is seeking a Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to general ledger, accounts receivable (AR), and billing functions, with opportunity for growth and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) including invoicing, cash applications, and collections follow-up
• Support billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing
• Maintain financial records and ensure data integrity within the accounting system
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Auxiliary with financial reporting and variance analysis
• Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (recent grads encouraged to apply)
• Internship or 0-2 years of accounting experience preferred
• Experience with Sage or similar ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel
