Junior Accountant

About the role

Looking for an individual with experience in accounting that can successfully manage our finances.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all financial matters, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax regulations.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure reliable financial reporting.
• Work with external auditors during audits and implement recommendations.
• Interact with management and other departments to provide financial insights and support.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Willing to commute (position is only in-person).
• Interpersonal communication skills.
• Succeeds at being a team player and working independently.

Preferred Skills

• Navigate Excel.
• Analyze complex financial data.
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial modeling tools.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, or similar.
• Experience with government contracting, sales, and accounting practices.

Pay

Competitive Pay (Pay is Based on Experience).

Schedule

Full Time: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm. Overtime Pay.
