Examples of Duties
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff
- Develops and oversees employee work schedules
- Counsels or disciplines as appropriate
- Trains staff in operations, policies, and procedures
- Assists with or completes employee performance appraisals
- Acts as a liaison between employees and management
- Provides progress and activity reports to management
- Assists with the revision of procedure manuals as appropriate
Ensures Compliance
- Ensures compliance with assigned court rules, local policies, and statutory requirements
- Implements updates as needed
- Oversees implementation of policies and procedures to streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and implement a more organized workflow
Supervises and Participates in Filing
- Supervises and participates in the filing of court documents
- Supervises the collection of fines and fees
- Prepares deposits
Generates and Reviews Reports
- Generates and reviews a wide variety of reports related to daily operations and activities
- Audits work performed by subordinates
- Ensures accuracy of payroll deadlines
Processes Documentation
- Processes a variety of documentation associated with department/division operations
- Reviews, completes, processes, forwards, or retains as appropriate
- Maintains computerized and/or hardcopy records
Communicates with Others
- Communicates with supervisor, other employees, County department heads, outside agencies and other individuals
Physical Demands
- The work is light work which requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects.
- Requires mental acuity including the ability to make rational decisions through sound logic and deductive processes, the ability to express ideas by means of the spoken word and have close visual acuity.
