JR094 Project Engineer

We have an in-house Architectural Finishes & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with PMs and Superintendents on the day-to-day operations of construction sites.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Working with submittals, RFIs, and change management.
• Assisting in contract buyouts.
• Working with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Developing project schedules and phasing plans.
• Attending and documenting project meetings.
• Supporting projects with exposure to multifamily construction environments.

Requirements

• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the commercial construction field, ideally including multifamily, paired with a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• A working understanding of construction cost accounting.
• Computer skills required: Procore, scheduling software (P6 preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong proficiency using the Procore project management system.
• Ability to develop and maintain schedules in P6 is preferred but not required.

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for our Charlotte regional office, with the role based full-time in Louisville, KY.
