Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, support design reviews, and support the development of a tool to communicate and track action items internally and with our customers.
• Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering, requirements, and design artifacts.
• Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature systems architecture content for large program designs.
• Conduct pre-review assessments to ensure readiness prior to formal design review.
• Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).
• Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.
• Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes for model development, tool integration, and team integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 2 years of related experience OR Master of Science in a STEM field and 0 years of related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience working along the left side of the "Systems Engineering Vee".
• Experience developing Systems Engineering models using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
• 1 year of experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices, languages, and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody, or MagicDRAW OR Equivalent Graduate Certificate (e.g., CalTech MBSE).
• 1 year of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations OR Equivalent Graduate Certificate (e.g., CalTech SE Fundamentals).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight and collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Object Modeling Group (OMG) Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Model Builder Fundamental Certification.
• Experience using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM).
• Experience leading technical projects, assignments, or engineering teams.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) or similar agile workflow environments.
• Experience working with DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
• Experience using agile development methodologies within a hardware or systems framework.
