Jr. Structural Engineer
About the role
Join a dynamic engineering team as a Jr. Structural Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in managing the structural scope of various projects from initial concept through detailed engineering. Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 0-5 years of experience in design and/or construction
- CAD proficiency and knowledge of engineering codes required
- EIT certification is a plus
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as STAAD, FEA, Caesar Pipe Stress Analysis (preferred)
- Knowledge of American Standard national design codes (AISC, ASCE)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to perform manual and computer-aided calculations
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with cooling towers and/or air-cooled condensers (ACC)
- Familiarity with ASME and AWS codes and non-destructive testing/inspection
- Knowledge of fabrication procedures, welding practices, and related standards
- Experience interfacing with clients, contractors, and multiple engineering disciplines
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel occasionally for field inspections and project site visits
- Able to assume full responsibility for project support, ensuring customer compliance and adhering to industry standards
