Jr. Risk and Insurance Analyst

About the role

Posillico is a multi-disciplined and diversified construction company with business units including Civil/Foundation, Wastewater, Environmental, Utilities, Drilling, Paving, Posillico Consulting LLC, Posillico Developmental LLC, and Posillico Materials, LLC. The Jr. Risk and Insurance Analyst will provide operational assistance to the Risk Management department with claims and litigation intake, investigation, administrative organization, and data management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emails and internal systems for new and incoming incidents, claims, and litigation.
• Analyze the severity of incoming claims and litigation matters to prioritize and facilitate timely processing.
• Maintain claims, incident, investigation, and litigation records.
• Coordinate and process driver approval requests and credentialing documentation with hiring managers, fleet management, and risk management.
• Manage correspondence, invoices, and departmental documentation.
• Support insurance compliance tracking and reporting.
• Maintain compliance records, filing systems, and document repositories.
• Monitor pending approvals and maintain qualification records.
• Assist with subcontractor and vendor insurance verification.
• Coordinate with hiring managers, risk procurement, and fleet management.
• Support MVR review administration and compliance tracking.
• Support data management, reporting, and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience in an administrative capacity.
• Experience in insurance and/or risk management capacity is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and willingness to perform in a team environment.
