About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, React, REST APIs, and MS SQL. The candidate will contribute to the development, testing, deployment, and support of large-scale web applications in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
- Develop responsive and reusable UI components using React v18+.
- Design, develop, and integrate REST APIs.
- Develop SQL queries, joins, and stored procedures using MS SQL Server.
- Participate in unit testing and integration testing.
- Follow Secure SDLC practices and coding standards.
- Use GitHub for source control and collaborative development.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile/Sprint activities.
- Assist with production troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Contribute to application design and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, product, and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Java development experience.
- 2+ years of Spring Boot/Spring MVC experience.
- 1+ year of React v18+ development experience.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, and XML.
- 1+ year of REST API development and integration.
- 1+ year of MS SQL development, including queries, joins, and stored procedures.
- 1+ year of Secure SDLC experience.
- Experience with GitHub source control.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
Nice to Have
- Docker/Kubernetes experience.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Multithreading and concurrent programming.
- Kafka, MQ, or RabbitMQ.
- GitHub Copilot / Agent Mode / AI-assisted development.
