Jr IT Technician - First Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and assistance to employees, warehouses, and remote staff.
• Maintain the fleet of Apple devices, including Mac Mini, MacBook Pros, and iPads across the organization.
• Provide break/fix support for fulfillment warehouses.
• Administer and manage Google Workspace accounts, including email, calendar, and drive.
• Support the helpdesk team.
• Reset the state of Carol Stream’s operational team’s tech devices from 3rd shift and prepare for 1st shift.
• Maintain and respond to Jira IT support tickets from the organization as Tier 1 support, both on-site in Carol Stream and remote for other locations and users.
• Perform basic vendor management related to support needs, such as scheduling call-outs and procurement.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Provide training to employees on how to effectively use IT systems and tools.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies and recommend improvements to IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Experience managing and supporting corporate hardware devices such as laptops, tablets and workstations.
• Familiarity with corporate email and identity management.
• Strong troubleshooting and IT problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• On‑site role in Carol Stream, IL.

Qualifications

• IT support experience in warehousing environments or logistics companies (nice to have).
• Experience managing and supporting Apple devices such as Mac Mini, MacBook Pros, and iPads (nice to have).
• Familiarity with Google Workspace administration (nice to have).
• Spanish language fluency (nice to have).
