About the Role

The Junior Advisory Program is a foundational initiative designed to cultivate and refine the sales skills of individuals in the early stages of their financial careers. This program supports a sales team focused on investment advisory, insurance, and fixed income sales. Participants will gain hands-on experience, learn from industry professionals, and play an integral role in the team's success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist brokers in managing client accounts, including processing orders, responding to client inquiries, and providing general account support.
  • Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, maintaining client records, preparing reports, and processing documentation.
  • Provide sales support by preparing client paperwork and coordinating with the sales team to ensure smooth client onboarding and follow-up.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to schedule client review meetings for advisors.
  • Support brokers in executing trades and monitoring trade confirmations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop sales skills by calling on warm leads provided by other brokers to practice and enhance sales techniques.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies; assist with compliance-related tasks, including documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in training programs and educational opportunities to enhance industry knowledge and stay updated with market developments.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a financial services environment, or relevant internships.
  • Previous experience in sales support or administrative roles is a plus.
  • Pursuit of relevant FINRA licenses (e.g., Series 7, Series 66).
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred.
  • CFP or ChFC designation is a plus.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
  • This position requires Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registration, including meeting applicable financial industry responsibility, regulatory requirements, credit fitness, and criminal background standards.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems or financial platforms is a plus.
  • Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability in all work.

Work Environment

This role is anticipated to be onsite at the posted location. The onsite environment fosters innovation, mentorship, and a vibrant culture where ideas flow freely and relationships flourish. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000–$80,000, based on experience.
