What You’ll Do

  • Identify and research prospective clients and target markets to build a qualified prospect list
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform outreach and proposal strategies
  • Maintain and update the CRM with contacts, activity notes, and opportunity status
  • Assist with sales and marketing materials: presentations, proposals, case studies, and email campaigns
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare follow-up materials, and manage calendar logistics for business development leadership
  • Track pipeline activity, prepare routine reports, and maintain accurate records of outreach outcomes
  • Support event and networking activities when appropriate (logistics, attendee follow-up, and lead capture)
  • Collaborate across internal teams—design, marketing, and leadership—to ensure consistent messaging and follow-through

What We’re Looking For

We seek a proactive, organized early-career business development professional who can move quickly between research, outreach, and coordination tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills — written and verbal — for outreach and client follow-up
  • Ability to synthesize research into actionable prospect lists and outreach plans
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and basic data entry/management (experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar is a plus)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (presentations, spreadsheets, email)
  • Positive, professional demeanor and ability to coordinate across teams
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (but not required)

  • Prior experience or interest in Architecture, Design, Engineering, or Professional Services
  • Internship or 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or client services

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Right to work in the United States is required
  • Degree preferred but not required; relevant experience or internships are considered
  • Reliable access to internet/phone for communication and remote collaboration when needed
