Jr. Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role will focus primarily on accounts payable, reconciliations, financial record maintenance, and month-end support. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentationMatch invoices to purchase orders, requisitions, and approvals in accordance with company proceduresMaintain vendor records, including W-9 collection and updates to vendor informationReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerRespond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account activityEnsure expenses are coded accurately to general ledger accounts and cost centersAssist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and supporting schedulesPrepare bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding itemsSupport annual audit requests by gathering financial documentationMaintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready accounting recordsProvide additional accounting and administrative support to the finance team as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred1–2 years of accounting or accounts payable experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systemsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracyEffective communication and problem-solving abilities Compensation: $25-30/hr Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications. #SONINY
