Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Journeyman Welders and Millwrights to join our team. If you are an experienced professional in one of these trades, we want to hear from you! Join a company that values craftsmanship and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Journeyman Welder
    Perform structural and pipe welding using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols. Ensure all welding complies with company and industry safety standards. Conduct routine inspections and repairs of welded structures.

  • Journeyman Millwright
    Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Align machines and equipment using precision tools and instruments. Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform preventive maintenance.

Requirements

  • Journeyman Welder
    Minimum of 4 years of experience in welding. Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

  • Journeyman Millwright
    Minimum 4 years of millwright experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read schematics, manuals, and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with machine shop tools and industrial equipment.

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
    Must have reliable transportation.

  • Ability to work long, flexible hours and overtime as needed.
    Work Location and Travel: The main office is located at 2730 Mine and Mill Road, Lakeland, FL. Travel to client and customer sites is required. Days and hours of work may vary at times to include some evenings and weekends.

Work Environment

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary (Monday to Sunday with some overnight work) and overtime is frequently required.

  • This position is safety sensitive in nature, which means employees perform duties so fraught with risks of injury to self or others, or environmental injury, that even a momentary lapse of concentration or attention can have disastrous consequences.

  • The working environment is often in harsh elements (hot/humid and/or cold temperatures, rain, etc.). Industrial environments often have exposure to hazardous chemicals, moving heavy equipment, and other safety-sensitive hazards/risks.

Physical Requirements

  • Talk/Hear: The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

  • Stand/Sit: The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting or standing.
