About the role

Klein Tools is seeking a Journeyman Toolmaker & Gauge/Fixture Specialist to join our team in Trevose, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in toolmaking and gauge/fixture fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate custom gauges and fixtures to meet production needs.
• Maintain and operate CNC machines and manual tools to produce high-quality parts.
• Collaborate with engineers and other manufacturing personnel to ensure product specifications are met.
• Perform quality control inspections on manufactured parts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Toolmaker or similar position.
• Proficiency in using CNC machines and manual tools.
• Strong understanding of metalworking processes and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Skills

• Proficient in CNC programming and operation.
• Experience with fixture design and assembly.
• Knowledge of metrology and inspection techniques.

Pay

Hourly rate ranging from 28 to 43 USD per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
