Journeyman Software Test Engineer

About the role

MTSI is looking for a Software Test Engineer (Journeyman) in the Huntsville, AL area. The position is on site at S3I on Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. This is not a remote position. This task requires daily support in a closed environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the PATRIOT Tactical System and the IBCS Engagement Operations Center (EOC)
• Develop and execute test cases that will be used to Verify and Validate a suite of applications
• Those applications are Flight Mission Simulator / Digital (FMS/D), Integrated Radar on the Net (IRON), Launcher on The Net (LOTN), and the LOTN compliment application L2

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, software development, or related discipline from an Accredited College
• 5+ years of software test experience

Required Skills

• Strong Linux Domain Knowledge
• Strong Software Test experience
• Exposure to C/C++ Engineering Application experience
• Demonstrate an understanding of Software Test Case development and execution
• Experience with workflows in the GitLab DEVSECOPS tools
• Strong familiarity and understanding of Linux operating system
• Mid-Level Engineer in software test with strong technical focus
