Journeyman Plumber

About the role

Kilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractors in Texas, is seeking experienced Journeyman Plumbers to install and maintain plumbing systems and their associated components. You will plan and lay out project work, ensuring projects are completed safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Inspect plumbing systems and equipment to identify and diagnose problems
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to ensure correct installation of plumbing systems
• Communicate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide solutions
• Ensure all work complies with local and state plumbing codes
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used

Requirements

• Prior relevant experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and/or industrial plumbing systems and components
• Knowledge of plumbing systems and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Current valid Journeyman Plumber License
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to complete it within 60 days
