Journeyman Plumber

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances like water heaters, toilets, and sinks.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with plumbing systems using various diagnostic methods.
• Read blueprints and building specifications to determine the layout for plumbing systems.
• Adhere to local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations.
• Prepare cost estimates for clients regarding materials and labor.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Perform scheduled maintenance checks to prevent future plumbing issues.
• Coordinate with other trades (electricians, builders, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Respond to emergency service calls as required.

Requirements

• Must possess a Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification.
