Journeyman Plumber

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions at all times
• Regularly check systems to ensure proper operations
• Inspect toilets, sinks, dishwashers, and other appliances for leaks
• Responsible for repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures
• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
• Replace washers and rubber gaskets in faucets and showerheads
• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines
• Install and maintain water supply systems
• Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems
