About the role
We are seeking motivated plumbing professionals (or aspiring apprentices) to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential and new construction settings. The ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain: Pipes, valves, and fittings; Drainage systems and plumbing fixtures; Work on residential and new construction projects; Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other trades;
- Read and follow building plans and blueprints;
- Respond to and resolve plumbing emergencies;
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems;
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with: Plumbing fixtures, Water heaters, Pressure tanks, Pumps and sewage ejector pumps;
- Maintain accurate records of: Time worked, Services performed, Materials used;
Qualifications
Journeyman Plumber
- 1-3+ years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber;
- Valid Montana State Plumbing License (or ability to obtain within 3 months);
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills;
- Proficiency with hand and power tools;
Apprentice Plumber
- Willingness to learn the plumbing trade;
- Basic construction or mechanical experience preferred;
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines;
Skills & Knowledge
- Familiarity with: PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper piping;
- Understanding of: Building codes, Safety regulations and practices;
- Familiarity with: Plumbing fixtures, Water heaters, Pressure tanks, Pumps and sewage ejector pumps;
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license;
- Must have tools (full list provided during interview process).
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $25 - $30/hour (DOE)
- Schedule: Full-time, day shift
