Journeyman Machinist

What will you be doing as a Journeyman Maintenance Machinist

• Maintenance of Equipment and Production Systems
• Troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems
• Precision and Non-Precision Machining
• Forecasting parts needs
• Participating in a Yearly Maintenance Shutdown

• Safely Operate Machine Tools to Fabricate Equipment Parts
• Be fluent with Manual Machining Processes
• Set Up Jobs for Efficient Manufacture of Parts and Tools to close tolerances and limits
• Select/Set Tooling, Feeds and Speeds, and Efficient Order-Of-Operation Sequences
• Show Proficiency in using Gauges and Measuring Tools to meet Tolerance Needs
• Skillfully Perform Maintenance, Assembly, and Installations
• Skillfully Inspect Parts and Materials
• Inspect Machinery for Needed Repairs
• Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Area
• Show Initiative
• Comply with Applicable Safety Standards and Regulations
• Perform other Related Duties as Assigned
