Journeyman Ironworker - Ocotillo

About the role

Responsible for constructing and maintaining various types of iron and steel structures. Works closely with other trades to ensure project safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and erect structural steel components using cranes and hoists.
• Operate welding equipment to join metal pieces.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Work in various weather conditions including rain, snow, and extreme heat.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction codes and regulations.
• Experience with different types of welding techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow blueprints.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
