About the role
Responsible for performing various tasks related to ironwork construction projects. Duties include but are not limited to assembling, installing, and repairing structural steel components.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install structural steel components according to blueprints and safety guidelines.
- Perform welding and cutting operations using various tools and equipment.
- Inspect work for quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in ironworking or similar field.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work at heights.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in basic welding techniques and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Skills
- Welding certification (AWS D1.1).
- Experience with scaffolding and rigging.
- Good physical fitness and stamina.
