Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance and service repairs on building mechanical and HVAC systems
- Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines
- Operates, maintains, and adjusts all building equipment including boilers, turbines, pumps, HVAC units, walk-in refrigeration and freezer equipment, lighting, and power equipment
- Maintains Preventative Maintenance
- Maintains accurate and timely paperwork
- Plans and accomplishes goals using experience and judgment
- Follows all safety practices and adhere to all safety related policies
- Responds to emergency calls
- Demonstrates initiative in assignments and maintains positive customer relations
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks
Position Requirements
- CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
- CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Must have a CFC certification and jurisdictional journeyman's license
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees
