About the role

We are a family-owned electrical service company based in Arlington, Texas. For over 20 years, we have served homeowners and small businesses throughout the southern half of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding counties. Our team specializes in residential service calls, light commercial projects, and energy-efficiency upgrades. Responsibilities

Carry standard equipment and parts; travel between job locations.
Inspect, assess, and diagnose electrical issues; communicate with clients about necessary repairs or upgrades.
Choose appropriate materials, install and maintain wiring, plugs, panels, and switchgear.
Set up and maintain electrical machines and troubleshoot equipment.
Maintain inventory, log time and materials for each job, and keep accurate records.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and provide professional, friendly service.
Mentor apprentices and assist master electricians on large projects.

Requirements

Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good arithmetic, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
Excellent verbal and written communication; commitment to continuous learning.
Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.

Skills

Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety regulations.
Proficient in using common electrical tools and equipment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $32–$55 per hour (about $66,560–$114,400 per year). Open listings in the Dallas-Fort Worth area show journeyman electricians earning $25–$55 per hour, with the top employers offering wages at the upper end of this range. Our pay range sits near the top of the market and comes with overtime, a bi-weekly pay schedule, and rapid advancement opportunities.
