About the role
Spark Power Corp USA is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join their team in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area with the ability to travel as needed for work.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate your commitment to safety in the workplace and lead by example
- Installation of electrical components; panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting, etc.
- Installing conduit and wire, terminating conductors
- Troubleshooting circuitry and replacing damaged components on industrial equipment and systems
- Ordering required parts and controlling all job materials using our computer system
- Completing work orders as per client specifications and input; reviewing the completed job with the customer, to ensure complete satisfaction
- Maintaining a clean work area at all times
- Proactively preparing for upcoming work
- Interacting with various individuals at different levels within the company
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in industrial, commercial and/or institutional sectors
- A valid state Journeyman Electrician license is preferred
- Experience with conduit runs 1/2' - 2' (EMT, GRC, PVC Coated (Ocal) and S/S)
- Able to troubleshoot on complex industrial installations
- Familiarized with instrumentation and controls
- OSHA 10 certified is a plus
- Working knowledge of all relevant electrical code (NFPA, NEC, etc.)
- Thorough ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Excellent communication skills within team and external customers
- Strong eye for Quality Assurance and pride in craftsmanship
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Proficiency with computer programs (Microsoft programs, email, time entry)
- Ability to travel as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, time entry)
