Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and one-line diagrams to understand the electrical needs of large commercial or mission-critical construction projects.
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring they are functioning optimally and safely.
- Adhering to safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment.
- Conducting electrical repairs as necessary, identifying issues promptly to prevent larger problems from developing.
- Working closely with the project team to ensure electrical installations align with project timelines and specifications.
- Keeping abreast of updates to electrical codes and implementing these changes into daily work practices.
- Providing expert advice and consulting services to clients, helping them understand their electrical needs and proposing effective solutions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with a preference for those who have worked on large commercial, industrial, or data center projects.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and one-line diagrams.
- Extensive experience with electrical systems installation and repair.
- In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and electrical codes.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to clients and team members.
- A valid Journeyman Electrician license.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
