Journeyman Electrician

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with local codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Perform routine inspections and ensure compliance with local codes
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems quickly and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with clients and other tradespeople

Requirements

• Valid journeyman electrician license in Utah
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program
• Knowledge of electrical theory and safety practices

Skills

• Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
